Another of Moroccan’s most famous UNESCO World Heritage sites is just a few dozen kms away from Ouarzazate heading north to Marrakech. This huge fortified village (called ksar) was selected by several movies as background scenario. The 18th century casbahs (fortified houses) and impressive view over the valley makes for one of the best Morocco packages.
