3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Ben haddou – Dades Valley

Morning departure from Marrakech by car from your hotel to Dades valley, via the High Atlas and the Tichka Pass (2260 m). We then descend along a track to discover the ancient kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Following lunch and a visit to the area we drive through Ouarzazate via the Valley of the Roses to the Dades Valley. Continue to Dades Gorges, overnight in a hotel on the road to the gorges.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

Departure after breakfast, We will continue our 3-day Merzouga desert tour to visit the Todgha Gorges and the Tineghir palm grove, After which we will continue our journey to the fabulous desert through Erfoud (the capital of fossils) with the possibility to visit the fossil manufacturing workshop. Then our adventure trip to the impressive dunes of Merzouga, for a beautiful one hour camel ride through the dunes to admire the sunset in the heart of the dunes. We will spend the night in nomad tents and contemplate the silence under the stars. Dinner and Berber music arround the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Walk up to the top of a nearby dune to enjoy the view of a sunrise in the desert, after a good breakfast and shower. We continue by car to cross the desert for another 560 km via Erfoud. Lunch in Ouarzazate. Arrival in Marrakech at around 7:00 pm, marking the end of our 3 Days Tour from Marrakech.
